CCTV Drain Survey Oxford 24/7
Able Drainage services include detailed inspections of drain pipes above or below ground level. As the bulk of drainage is below ground it is sometimes difficult to find the drainage problem. Using special camera equipment, our Oxford engineers are able to survey pipes from as small as 50mm diameter, and still provide a precise examination of the pipe identifying any blockage or damage that may exist. Our Oxford cctv drain survey services are available 24 hours a day in domestic and commercial properties. We have trained staff available to offer free quotes and estimates for all drainage work.

Example of our Drainage Services:
Grease Traps
Commonly used in restaurants, take-aways and large-scale businesses, this prevents a large percentage (roughly 85-90%, though some high capacity ones employed by large businesses claim up to 99%) of grease, oil, lard and other fats from progressing from the sinks to the drain, by means of separation.
The grease will sink and settle at the bottom, and the mostly clear wastewater left over flows to the drain normally. This drainage system needs to be emptied periodically, with the collected grease either recycled, or disposed of.
These types of systems were created to virtually eliminate the problem of fats, and suchlike, building up and clogging up the main drain system. In practice, it either greatly reduced the frequency between drain unblocking, or had little effect, because of neglecting to empty the tank.
